Growing together.

In a non-coercive, self-directed environment, the children experience the challenge of developing agency within the natural constraints of community, building self-responsibility within collective responsibility.

Learning Together.

When children are trusted and empowered to direct their own learning and cultivate their own interests, critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills flourish and they begin the life-long process of knowing themselves, as learners, as people.

Playing Together.

Fundamental to their health and well-being, children engage with the world through play. Spontaneous, voluntary and unpredictable, play transforms and makes meaning, crosses borders, and enables children to approach their environments in highly flexible and adaptive ways.
